(Griswold) The Griswold Girls do again...and again....and again, they win the 2013 Class 1A team title with 45-points. This is the third consecutive team title for the Tigers.
Sophomore Rebekah Topham won the 800 and 1500, and finished second in the 3,000 and 400-low hurdles. The Tigers also received some very important points from Senior Jordan Sindt’s third place finish in the 800-meters, and eighth place finish in the 400-lows.
And how about the Tigers Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Kinzey Nicklaus, Justine Fruend, Jeana Fruend, Trisha Huerta. They finished seventh place to give the Tigers two valuable points.
West Hancock was second with 39-points, and Sibley-Ocheydan and Belle Plaine finished in a tie for third with 37.
The Treynor girls finished fourth in the Class 2A team race with 47-points.
